Q. whats ur opinion on texas or houston. thats a good restraunt

A. I have lived in every part of the United States. California,Seattle,New Orleans,NY,Maine,Florida and Tennessee. By far Houston T.X. is the worst. The city is run very poorly. The people there lack sophistication and it's a mecca for illegal immigrants. It's a double standard town. I was involved in a accident with someone who did not speak english no driver's license,no insurance,no tags, nothing. This person should have went to jail. The Houston Police department shows up and says there is nothing we can do but give them tickets. Went to court guess what they did not show. If I get in a small fender bender and don't have insurance,a licence,no tags and can speak english then I go to jail. I had to fix my car myself. No one cares… [cont.]

How can you become a resident of Texas in order to pay in-state tuition?
Q. I know many schools want you to live in Texas for at least 12-months, how can you prove you've lived in Texas for 12 months? What if you lived in texas for 3 months before getting a local driver's license, do schools only accept the time after you go the license or is there a way to show you've already lived in Texas before the license was recieved.

A. Show the school your lease with the date it was signed. They have to accept it as proof of date of residency. If lease is not in your name, show them mail addressed to you, postmarked from date of residency...mail like credit card bills, utility bills, car loan, etc.

At what location in Texas does the weather cease to be humid?
Q. I know that the east coast of Texas is very humid and the western part is very dry. I hear that the Austin area is humid, but not as bad as the east coast. My question, then, is about how far west of Austin do you have to go to get away from the humidity? I am not interested in the northern parts of Texas. I am curious about the cities and towns in the middle of Texas. Thanks.

A. It starts getting drier further west of Austin. The Hill Country is usually pretty dry. We vacation at the Mayan Dude Ranch in Bandera every year and it is always pretty dry...HOT but dry.

Texas is the second-largest U.S. state in both area and population, and the largest state in the contiguous United States.

A Texan outside of Texas is a foreigner. When a Texas team takes the field against a foreign state, it is an army with banners.

  • One objection I have heard voiced to works of this kind—dealing with Texas—is the amount of gore spilled across the pages. It can not be otherwise. In order to write a realistic and true history of any part of the Southwest, one must narrate such things, even at the risk of monotony.
  • When MacNab blanched, no more stunned than I, Rusk rose and put his arm about his shoulders: "Never forget, son, when you represent Texas, always go first class."
  • Texas is a state of mind. Texas is an obsession. Above all, Texas is a nation in every sense of the word. And there’s an opening convey of generalities. A Texan outside of Texas is a foreigner.
